Andrew L. Terrono, MD

Dr. Terrono is Chief of Hand Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital and Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tufts University. He is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand. He is committed to educating the next generation of hand surgeons and is co-director of the Tufts University Combined Hand Fellowship. He has trained over 60 hand surgery fellows as well as many orthopaedic residents and medical students. Dr. Terrono is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and a fellow in the prestigious American Orthopaedic Association (AOA).

He is interested in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery and has extensive experience in arthritis of the hand and wrist as well as treatment of Dupuytren’s disease. Dr. Terrono also consults for the Boston Celtics. He has been published extensively and has lectured locally, regionally and nationally.
